Material Hand Spec Anlin-Receiving Department (1st shift): Forklift experience is required.

The Material Handling Specialist is responsible for operating forklifts and moving goods around warehouses and other industrial sites.

• Works with material handler technicians to ensure a smooth and productive daily workflow.
• Verifies equipment daily while following the required safety checklist.
• Thoroughly inspect loads to prevent potential damage and/or hazards.
• Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Promptly unloads trucks, sort, and stock materials.
• Engages and collaborates with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Provide support for the entire facility in different departments.
• Stage materials and/or tools inventory and ensure proper product is pulled and provided.
• Reads and understands to complete and/or assist in labeling deliveries or products.
• Collaborate with all internal departments to locate packages and complete delivery.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Ensuring driving areas are free from obstructions.
• Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.

• At least 6 months of forklift experience required.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and inventory.
• Experience in basic warehouse operation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Visual alertness to read instructions and operate and inspect equipment.
• Completion of on-the-job training and certification will be required.
• Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
